Daedong Myeongsodo Privacy Policy
Daedong Myeongsodo (大東名所圖, "the app") does not collect personal information. This page explains what the app does and does not do with data.
Information we collect
None. The app does not collect your name, contact details, email address, device identifiers, usage data or any other personal information. There are no accounts.
Location
If you allow it, the app uses your device's location only to:
- show your position on the map and draw a 1 km circle around it,
- find the nearest heritage site, and
- check whether you are close enough to a site to collect its stamp.
Your location is processed on your device only. It is not stored, and it is not sent to the developer or to anyone else. If you decline location access, the rest of the app (map, descriptions, photos and lists) still works. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings.
Information stored on your device
Your collected stamps, favorite sites, chosen language (Korean or English) and map display settings are saved only on your device (in UserDefaults). They are never sent to a server, and they are removed when you delete the app.
Third parties
The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking tools or other third-party SDKs. It works without an internet connection, and its map data and photos are included in the app. If you tap a link on the credits screen in Settings, your device's default browser may open, and that website's own policy applies from then on.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from users of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new effective date. If the app ever begins to collect or send information, this policy and the in-app notices will be updated first.
